Communities know everything they need to know. They are made up of people full of ideas, skills, energy and knowledge. Regardless of the identity of the people who make up the community or the context of the community, all communities have a capacity for greatness.
We sometimes need help with inspiring greatness, feeling confident about our capacity, finding the time and space to make positive change happen. This blog aims to tap into what people and collective groups know, while also learning what we can do to create contexts and conditions that maximize community learning and health in schools and in place-based communities.
At its core, CommunitiesKnow is about action. The world is full of individuals and groups who, every day, foster learning and make the world a better place. This is my starting point for exploring what communities know.
